ZywOo tops ESL Pro League Season 16 Group A

The Vitality team seem to have turned over a new leaf, remaining undefeated in the ESL Pro League Season 16 group stage and advancing directly to the quarter-finals of the playoff stage.

The revamped international lineup is going well as Vitality only dropped three cards out of five wins against Fnatic, NAVI, Endpoint, Spirit and Ninjas in Pajamas (NIP).

She also saw the revival of Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut who was in great shape, putting in his best performance of the year so far after achieving an overall HLTV rating of 1.45 on 12 cards.

Here’s a detailed breakdown of his stellar performance in the group stage, aided by the excellent shot from Vitality’s latest signing – Lotan “Spinix” Giladi.

Before the tournament kicked off, much of the community was in favor of NAVI running away with a perfect score of ‘5-0’, currently being the top CS:GO team in the world.

However, this was not the case as the Ukrainian organization, after winning a few opening matches, recorded three consecutive defeats.

The international outfit hosted by Vitality were praised for their fantastic ‘5-0’ run, the star player of the ZywOo team found their rhythm and delivered striking performances.

  • Maximum overall score – 1.45

It goes on to show what kind of performance he delivered in every game and this time he also had the talented Israeli rifleman, Spinx, to back him up when the going got tough.

Together, ZywOo and Spinx prove to be a deadly and effective duo for the French organization. Hopes are high for this team as they now enter the playoffs, where they will start straight from the quarter-finals of the tournament.
