IRCTC Update 133 Trains canceled today by the railways Checklist here

IRCTC Update: More than 130 trains were canceled by Indian Railways on Thursday for several reasons including operation and maintenance. The Department of Railways, in its latest update shared on the IRCTC website, said 106 trains due to depart on August 18 have been canceled while 27 trains have been partially cancelled.   1. Visit official website https://www.irctchelp.in/live-train-running-status/
  2. Enter the train number in the text box provided.
  3. Choose or enter the date in DD-MM-YYYY format.
  4. Press the Search button to get the result in tabular form
  5. To verify by SMS – Text as ‘AD (Train Number)’ to 139
  6. To contact the Indian Railways Inquiry Number, call 139

How to consult the complete list of canceled trains

  1. Visit indianrail.gov.in/mntes and select travel date
  2. Next, select Exceptional Trains on the top panel of the screen
  3. Click on the Canceled trains option
  4. Select the option Fully or Partially to see the full list of trains with time, routes and other details as required

Train passengers should note that if an affected train is marked as “cancelled” in PRS due to violations, floods, accidents and other issues, a full refund is permitted if the ticket is canceled within three days following the scheduled departure of the train. In the case of electronic tickets, these cancellations can be made by the customer via the Internet. Train passengers can also download the NTES mobile application in case of additional questions.
