Apple iPhone 14 Pro allegedly leaks to show dual-cut display and items in status bar

The footage was shared by Twitter user DuanRui of Chinese social media site Weibo. An image from the band shows an actual image of the dual cutouts of the iPhone 14 Pro that house components for Face ID and the front camera. Ice universe too shared a picture of the iPhone 14 Pro dummy unit earlier today.

Moreover, the fleeing ShrimpApplePro also shared a screenshot of the iPhone 14 Pro Max and overlaid it with an identical screenshot of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. The image basically shows that Apple is planning to enlarge and realign the status bar to accommodate the new pill and punch-hole cutouts. Another image shows the full iPhone 14 Pro Max status bar. It can be seen that the status bar items are slightly lower and to the right compared to those of the iPhone 13 Pro Max. This includes cellular signals, battery indicators, and WiFi.

Apple is expected to hold its iPhone 14 “Far Out” launch event on September 7. The company will also see fit to announce the new Apple Watch Series 8 models and potentially the AirPods Pro 2 and 10th generation iPad. Standard iPhone 14 models should feature a notch, as the dual cutouts will be exclusive to iPhone 14 Pro models. Additionally, Apple is looking to widen the gap between the two models with more changes.
